I always like how God speaks...

 

 

even when we haven't been listening..when we've found ourselves too caught up in business to stop and give ear to the still small voice.  Allowing the loudness of life to creep in and cause a spiritual deafness.  I know I am not alone in my moments of hearing impairments and I'm not too "spiritual" to admit that sometimes it's easier not to listen as your eardrums become numb and complacent.  But His love presses past all that, piercing the the numbed soundwaves, causing our eardrums to shatter and then transformation and restoration can begin.  And that moment when He does shatter through and the sound waves suddenly have movement, purpose, and rhythm...well those are the moments to crank up the volume and be sure you put the song on repeat.

Just wanted to test out updating my blog via email.  Obviously a pretty cool feature. Oh how I love technology.

Gift registry

....has posed for some interesting moments/situations. But it's been very exciting and I will go into details pretty soon. Mother and I are going to be running some wedding errands today then later David and I are going to our friend's wedding downtown at the Millenium center. I am excited about dressing up and celebrating God bringing two people together to fufill His calling as well as grown and abound in love for one another. Today is a perfect day for a wedding.

Since my surgery time has simply come and passed..ran together....slipped away and I find myself here on Saturday evening wondering where exactly the 3 days of my spring break went.

I'm taking myself off the pain meds because they are starting to make me feel very weird (dizzy, sick, weak, heart beating fast, etc). I'll just do gel caps because I'm not trying to have a hangover from some Codine when I have to go back to work Monday.
